WHAT SHOULD I BRING ONBOARD?
Sunscreen (non-spray type) is very important as well as some type of hat. Perhaps a long sleeve cover-up to protect your skin from the sun rays. Sunglasses are essential and polarized lenses are especially helpful in reducing glare from the water’s surface, towels, sunscreen (non-spray type), cover-up, hat, and camera. Please wear white soled non-slip shoes.
HOW DO I RESERVE MY BOAT?
Depending on the boat a deposit of $1,000 will lock your rental time and date. Once you find a time and place available we will be able to secure your rental (Up to 6 months in advance) with the deposit. Payment can be made via Venmo, Cashapp, or Zelle. Balance is due on the day of the rental.
DO I GET MY MONEY BACK IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
You will never lose your money
CAN I PLAY MY OWN MUSIC?
Absolutely! Rock your favorite playlist from your phone we have bluetooth speakers on board.
WHAT KIND OF FOOD MAY I BRING ON BOARD?
Typically, you should consider bringing the same things you might bring to the beach or a picnic. Snacks, beverages, lunch, sandwiches, paper plates, etc.
WHO MUST WEAR A LIFE JACKET?
Florida law requires all children 6 and under wear a Coast Guard Approved life jacket at all times while boating.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF TIME I MAY RENT A BOAT?
A boat may be rented for a minimum of 2 hours unless it is a holiday weekend and then there is a 4-hour minimum.
CAN I ADD ADDITIONAL TIME TO THE END OF MY TRIP?
Yes, as long as we don’t have another charter booked afterwards, you can extend the time by hour. Price will vary depending on the boat/yacht.

CAN I RESCHEDULE MY TRIP IF WEATHER IS BAD?
The Captain has the final decision in determining if a charter must be rescheduled due to extreme weather. Rain does not constitute grounds for cancellation or rescheduling.
IS GRATUITY INCLUDED IN THE CHARTER COST?
No, gratuity is not included in your total charter price, a customary 15% or greater gratuity is given directly to your captain/crew after your charter, depending on the service and overall experience of your charter. Your gratuity will be greatly appreciated by the captain and crew.
Car questions
What are your rental requirements?
To rent with Xzotica, you must provide:
A valid driver’s license (U.S. or international).
Proof of full-coverage auto insurance.
A major credit or debit card in the renter’s name.
Minimum age requirement: 25 years old.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and wire transfers for advance bookings. Cash payments may be accepted for balances only — not for security deposits. Any cancelations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund.
Do you deliver and pick up vehicles?
Yes, we offer concierge delivery and pickup service throughout the Miami and South Florida area. Delivery outside this region may be available upon request for an additional fee.
Can I rent a specific car model?
Absolutely. We guarantee the exact make and model you reserve. If that vehicle becomes unavailable due to maintenance or scheduling issues, we’ll provide an upgrade at no additional cost.
Is there a mileage limit?
Each car includes a set number of daily miles (typically 100–150). Extra miles are billed at the rate listed for each vehicle. Unlimited mileage packages may be available for select models — ask when booking.
Do you require a security deposit?
Yes. A refundable security deposit is required on every rental. The amount depends on the car model and rental duration. Deposits are held on your card and released after the car is returned in the same condition.
Can someone else drive the car?
Only drivers listed on the rental agreement may operate the vehicle. Additional drivers must meet all rental requirements and be added before pickup.
What about insurance coverage?
All renters must show proof of full-coverage insurance transferable to rental vehicles. If you don’t have qualifying coverage, Exzotica can help you obtain a temporary policy through our approved partners.
What happens if I get a ticket or toll charge?
You are responsible for all traffic violations, parking tickets, tolls, and related administrative fees incurred during your rental. These will be charged to the card on file after your trip if not paid directly.
What if I return the car late?
We offer a 60-minute grace period. After that, an hourly rate applies based on your vehicle category. Late returns over 3 hours may incur a full-day rental charge.
Can I take the vehicle out of state?
Yes, but only with written approval from Xzotica. Unauthorized out-of-state travel will result in additional fees or termination of your rental agreement.
What is your cancellation policy?
More than 7 days before pickup: Full refund (minus any processing fees).
3–7 days before pickup: 50% refund.
Less than 72 hours: Non-refundable.
Rescheduling may be available subject to vehicle availability.
Do you offer hourly rentals?
No. We require a minimum 24-hour rental period for all vehicles. Weekend and holiday rentals may require a two-day minimum.
Do I need to refuel the car before returning it?
Yes. All vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level provided at delivery. If not, a refueling fee will be charged at the current premium fuel rate.
What if the car gets damaged?
The renter is fully responsible for any damage, scratches, or interior stains. If your insurance covers rental vehicles, the claim will be processed through your provider. Otherwise, repair costs may be deducted from your security deposit.
